Jenny flew in the air, flipping from vision to vision. Both her past and future. She made sure she was high enough in the air not to hit any trees. She was in the city, but she wasn't sure what city. It was all dark; accept for the car lights below.
She was only feet above the flat, apartment rooftops. Jenny loved to fly. She loved the cold wind hitting her face; it sent chills through her body. Her jet black, shoulder length hair, smacking her cheeks. The thing she loved most was how her snowy white wings glided so smoothly with the wind.
Jenny's visions stopped a second too late. She flew right into a running figure. It was running across the rooftop. Jenny saw it come in her vision, but couldn't come out of her vision quick enough to see, and move. Jenny landed on the roof, on her knees, the figure landed back on their butt. Jenny knew who it was, or at least what it was...
"Hey! You dumb wolf! Watch where you run! Don't just run into people!" Jenny yelled at the figure. "And get off your butt, come where I can see you!" Jenny was already on her feet.
The figure got their feet, "Dumb wolf?" The voice was deep and mocking. "Watch where you’re flying. You dumb little bird. You flew into me." The figure came towards Jenny, "Well...well...well. I see this will be interesting."
Jenny's eyes widen. She saw that this boy was only fifteen or sixteen. He was about her age. Jenny was fifteen, so he was about her age. Jenny came back to what the boy had said, "Interesting?! Interesting?! For me it shall be, but for you...not so much."
The boy snickered, "I'm not in the mood to deal you birds today....try again tomorrow."
Jenny laughed, "Why would I do that? If I could kick your butt now, why would I do it later?"
The boy nodded, "Whatever, you like...but, before we start this, what's your name?"
Jenny was little off when he asked her name, he sounded as if he wanted to know, "Jenny." Wait, why did I tell him? What is it to him to know?
"Oh. You’re Jenny? This will be easy," Jenny could hear something behind his words, but she didn't know what.
Easy? What does he mean that? "Easy? What is that suppose to mean? And your name is...? Do you know me or something?"
The boy shook his head the many questions that were just asked, "I mean, I've heard of you. Your name is very well known. And my name is Dean. So no, we've never met. I've heard stories." Dean gave an evil smile. His teeth were snow white, but the tips had a red tint.
Stories? So I was known among the shape-sifters? To the wolves? Birds, dogs, and even the snakes? How?
Jenny smiled too, "Want me to show you of the stories? I'm sure I could show you." Even though she had never heard someone talk about her, she knew she was the stories were going to be shown anyway.
Dean gave her a confused look. "Have you even heard what was said about you? It's not good on your part, I mean. But if you like.... could tell you everyone’s favorite. Just to give an idea on how stupid you just made yourself sound." Dean looked at Jenny, waiting for her to catch on. She all of a sudden was dazed. "Hey!?" Dean snapped his fingers in her face, "No wonder....This is why....Are you stupid?"
Jenny just had a vision. They do always come at the worst of times. "Excuse me?! I am not stupid, I know more than you think," Jenny thought a moment, "I know more about you then you do, even though we've never met."
Dean was highly confused, "How?...Never mind. I've got better things to do then listen to you and your thoughtless thinking." Dean started off the roof,
"Scared wolf? You don't want to fight me? I didn't think so." Jenny smiled cruelly.
Dean spun around, "I ain't scared of you,"
“I’m sure, that's why you’re leaving,"
Dean had anger run through his body, he tried to fight it, but it wasn't any use, "That's it!" Dean ran at Jenny and threw a punch at her face, Jenny moved at the last second.
"Is that all? You have to be quicker than that." Jenny said has she went it to the air. She did a side at Dean's head but he was quicker.
Dean grabbed Jenny's foot and pulled her to the ground. She hit the roof, she landed on her back, hitting her head hard on the roof. Jenny kicked with her other foot, the foot Dean didn't have in his hand. She kicked Dean's side.
Dean smiled, he pulled on the foot he had, making Jenny scrap her wings on the roof. Dean morphed, he picked Jenny up and threw her into the air.
Jenny spread out her throbbing wings, great. He morphed. Jenny dodged the punch at her face, so instead he hit her stomach. Jenny saw what was coming next, she went higher so Dean couldn't grab her again.
"You say I'm scared of you?" he laughs, "You’re the one flying away, like the scared the little bird you are."
Jenny shoots down, using the momentum from her flying, she tackles Dean. She punches his, “I’m not scared of nobody!”
Jenny lets go and goes into the air, only about two or three feet. She swings her foot at Dean, and he again, grabs her foot and pulls her to the ground. Jenny lands net to Dean.
“You should practice your fighting skills. You suck.” Dean said getting to his feet.
Jenny was about to come up with a comeback, when she heard a slam. Jenny jumped to her feet. Great, another one!
Jenny looked at the new girl, who just came. Lynn. Jenny has fought with her before. “Hello, dog-chick. Where’s your leash and collor?”
Dean turns to Lynn, “What?” he snaps.
Lynn growled at Jenny, but turned to Dean, “Nothing. I saw you here. So I came to see how badly, chew toy was getting her butt whooped.”
“Leave. I got this.” Dean said it like it was more an order than anything else, but there was again, something behind his words. Jenny didn’t understand.
“Can’t I stay and watch this?”
Dean growled, Lynn jumped, “Don’t get in this understand?”
Jenny smiled at Lynn when she jumped. “You scared of that...? Well ain’t that something?”
Jenny stepped at Jenny, Dean growled again, Jenny stepped back. Dean spoke, “You’ll really get it if don’t out of this. You got that, Jenny?”
Jenny didn’t like taking orders, she looked from Dean to Jenny, then back to Dean. Jenny snarled, but nodded at Dean.
“Good.”
Jenny didn’t get why Lynn was scared or was listening to Dean’s instructions. “Why do you obey this kitten?”
Lynn looked at Jenny and tackled her to the ground. Jenny showed that she enjoyed this. Lynn punched Jenny in her face, Lynn was morphed into her 280 pound wolf form. Jenny kicked Lynn’s stomach and punched Lynn back.
Dean came up to them, he pulled Lynn off Jenny. He punched her face, hard. Lynn staggered back. “I said don’t get this!”
“Sorry.”
“Leave Lynn. Before you regret it.”
“Bu-“
Lynn stopped talking, the glanced from Dean, showed he meant what he said.
Jenny looked at Lynn then to Dean. “Can we continue or do you two want some time alone, to talk?”
“Your pretty cocky for a bird who could her butt whooped by two wolves.”
“Cocky? And you’re not doing anything, your ordering her around.”
Dean looks at Lynn, “Leave.” Dean said simply. He turned to Jenny, he grabbed her throat, only seconds before she tried to move. “Can you breathe? Dose this count as doing something?” Dean laughed and dropped her.
Jenny fell to her knees grasping for air. She looked up at Dean, man he is to strong.
Lynn smiled down at Jenny, she enjoyed this, that little...
Jenny took her feet and swung them under Dean. He fell backward, slamming his head on the roof.
Jenny got on top off him she punched his face reptededly. Lynn gripped Jenny by the hair and pulled off Dean.
Dean growled at Lynn, “I said, I got this! Lynn if you-“Dean steps at Lynn, Lynn steps back let go Jenny. “If you don’t leave I swear I’ll….”
“Ok. I’ll go.” Lynn turned and to walk to edge of roof, “Tell me how this ends,” Lynn jumped off the roof. She was in her wolf form, so hit the ground she morphed back into her human form and ran off.
Jenny looks at Dean from the ground, I need a distraction. I need him to think of other then this fight. Jenny smiled, ok.
She got to her feet, Dean looked at calmer. Was it because Lynn left? Or because I was short of air?
Dean looked away from where Lynn had left, and looked at Jenny, “You o-“He stopped, “Are you breathing now?” Dean forced a laugh.
“Yeah. Thank you very much.”
“Your welcome.”
Dean ran at Jenny, Jenny moved to the side at the last second. Dean’s claws gazed through the side of her shirt, and skin. Can these visions come any sooner?
Jenny looked down at her torn shirt, “Man, this one was cute too...” She took a piece of her ripped blue shirt, and let it fall to the ground.
Dean rolled his eyes, “I get the chick that cares more about her clothes then the blood on them…”
Jenny’s side was cut, but not that badly. “I get the guy who talks more than fights. He thin-“
Dean slashed at Jenny with claws. He paused, shook his head, he sent a kick to her stomach.
Jenny had blood coming from her face, side, and neck. Please heal. Jenny heals a lot quicker than humans. But the kick had sent Jenny to the ground; she was on her back again.
Dean saw the blood, he walked over and knelt beside her. An odd smirk on his face, “You done?” He asked.
Jenny was cut, yes. But no, she wasn’t done. Jenny got to her feet, “I’m not letting you win that easy.”
Jenny went into the air, and then came back down on Dean. She saw disappointment in his eyes. What? Jerk! He was on the ground under her, she was sitting on his chest. Jenny grabbed his shirt collar and punched his face. She punched repeatedly, until she heard a slight crack. She let go.
Dean put his head back to the roof, he kicked Jenny off him and stood back in his feet. His face was covered in the blood that rushed from his nose and mouth. He spit out some blood, then ran at Jenny. He slammed her to the ground. Jenny kicked and kicked, finally getting him off.
“Oh no. You got yourself a bloody nose. I’m only bleeding all over, you dumb jerk!”
Dean fixed his broken nose, making more blood come. He cringed, then laughed at Jenny. “I’m so sorry. What me to kiss you and make it all better?” Dean said sarcastically.
Jenny’s head popped up, Thank you. Finally. Jenny smiled wickedly. “Kiss me? You want to kiss me?” Jenny flew into the air, and landed on her feet behind Dean. “Are you sure?”
Dean was about to turn around, but…how close was she? He stepped forward before turning around. Jenny laughed.
“Scared? I will.”
“Scared? You wi-“
Jenny kissed him. She thought quickly. Wait. I’m still on my feet. What the..?
Jenny heard a gasp. It wasn’t Dean, his lips were still hooked with Jenny’s. Dean stepped back breaking the kiss. Jenny saw him blush! She did too, she turned away. This was supposed to distract him! Not me!
“Wha-“
“Lynn! I sa-“
“And now I kn-“
“I mean it! Leave!”
Jenny looked at the ground.
“Leave? What were you doing?! You…you traitor! Yo-“
Dean growled at Lynn, morphing back into wolf form. Lynn jumped, but braced herself.
“Lynn?” Dean chuckled, “You got yourself in this.”
Dean laughed at Lynn, he took her to the ground. He punched her face, his strength is incredible.
Lynn kicked Dean, finally, the third kick getting him off. Lynn and Dean were about the same size, but Dean was slightly taller. Lynn jumped to her feet. “Some leader you are. Kissing birds!”
Dean slashed at Lynn, with his claws. Her chest cut deeply.
Jenny stood still watching, why isn’t Lynn fighting back? Leader or not...she should fight back. Why won’t she..?
“I ain’t no traitor! I dare you to call me one again.” Dean’s voice was angry, but his smile was wicked.
“You’re a traitor.”
Dean laughed at Lynn, once more but Lynn spun around and tackled Dean. She pinned him to the roof. “You kissed her. So tell me how you are not a traitor.” Lynn was talking to Dean, in a whisper, but her eyes were on Jenny.
Dean struggled under Lynn, “I didn’t kiss her. And if you don’t get off me, your face with be covered in as much blood as the rest her body.”
Lynn tightens her grip on Dean’s wrists, and pushed her knees down harder on Dean’s legs to keep him from moving. “You’re a little stuck at the moment,” Lynn was already morphed, she dug her claws into Dean. Not wanting to cut his wrists she moved her hands and pinned him right below the elbows. “I saw you two in lip-lock. You with us or not?”
Dean tried to kick her off but she had most of her weights on his legs. His arms were too tightly pinned. Dean stopped trying. “Get off me, Lynn. You know what side I’m on.”
“If I did, why would I ask?” Lynn claws cut Dean’s arms; she could smell and see the blood. “Us or them.”
Dean ignored the cuts Lynn was giving him. He was use to this kind of pain. “Yours. Now get off me! Don’t make me say it. If I do it will be you in a lot of pain. Get off me, that’s an-“
Lynn jumped off Dean with a growl. “Don’t. And do it again, I bet you’ll be lost as leader.”
Dean laughed, “I’m the best fighter you got. Good luck, they won’t get rid of me. Especially because I’m the only that can get you to listen.”
Lynn growled, and changed the subject, “Kill her. Kill that bird. If you’re on our side you will.”
Jenny’s head turned to Lynn, “What was he trying to do before? Because surely that wasn’t saving me.”
Dean chuckled, “Lynn leave. Now. And you don’t tell anyone about what you saw. Got it?”
“If she’s dead, then I won’t.”
“It’s an order, Lynn. Don’t tell anyone.”
Lynn was all a sudden on her knees. She was breathing hard, looking at the ground. “Ok. I won’t tell. I won’t.’’ Lynn’s breathing slowed. She was breathing normal again.
“Me and you both know that was nothing, you tell it will hurt worse.”
Jenny didn’t understand what was going on. Dean turned to her, and then back to Lynn. “Leave.”
Lynn got to her feet, and walked to back to the edge. “I want to wa-“
“I can or-“
“Ok. Ok. I’ll go.”
Dean smiled wickedly as Lynn jumped. He turned to Jenny, “You want to know what was happening with Lynn?”
Jenny shrugged, she wanted to know, but she didn’t want to ask.
“I’m leader of the shape-shifters. One of the youngest, but one of the strongest.” Dean shook his head at the ground, “As w-“
“But happened to her? She was on the go-“
“I gave her an order she wasn’t going to follow. As soon as I said it was an order, a strong pain went through her.”
“What? Tha-“Jenny felt bad for Lynn, even though Lynn wanted her dead. No freewill?
“I try not to.”
“Huh?’’
“I’m not totally heartless. Ya know? I give as much freewill as I can.”
Jenny rolled her eyes. “I’m sure.”
Dean’s calm eyes grew dark. “You’d be dead if I was as cold as you think. But me being as merciful as I am, I give you a chance.”
“Shut up. If-“
Dean had Jenny in a headlock, Jenny didn’t move. If she did, her neck would snap. Dean looked at her, Jenny looked back meeting his eyes. They were deep sea blue. The blue of seas in paintings. Jenny was dazed for a moment, Dean was looking in her eyes as well. What is he thinking? Dean let her go. “I’m not playing, I would kill you if I wanted.”
Jenny put both hands around her neck. “I know, why won’t you?”
Dean looked at her, “Do you want me too?”
“NO!”
“Then don’t ask.”
“But I want to know.”
“I just can’t kill you, Ok?”
“Why? Haven’t you before?”
“Haven’t I what before? Killed a bird? Yeah.”
“Then why n-“
“Don’t ask why not you. That’s like asking me to.”
“Tell me. Now! Why you being so noble?! What makes me so different?! I don’t want pity!”
Dean looked at her eyes, and turned away again. “You just remind me of someone. Ok? Stop asking, or I’ll have Lynn come back and deal with you.”
Jenny thought, who could I possibly remind him of? I have no family. Mom and dad had died, and I had an older sister somewhere. But she left me long ago to follow… “Dean” Jenny whispered under her breath.
“What?” He snarled.
“I remind you of someone?”
“Just drop it. She died.”
“What was her name?”
“I said drop it!”
Jenny had lost her sister two years ago. She left, and followed a boy. “Did she look like me?”
“I mean it, if-“
“Was her name Ivy?”
Dean’s eyes widened. “How-“
Jenny let light tears fall. Why hide them?
“How did you know- Jenny? You’re..”
Jenny wiped her tears. “Lynn is coming back. She wants you to kill me. She told some people, that you-“
Lynn popped up, she looked right at Jenny, “Why are you still alive?”
“I’m not a bad fight! I fought y-“
“Why is she still alive Dean?”
Dean growled, “Get lost!”
“You may be leader, but if you’re a traitor as well, I will not listen.”
“I-“
“Kill her right now. Show me you’re not a traitor, prove it. Kill her.”
Dean looked at Lynn, he was speechless.
“As I thought.” Lynn laughed at Jenny, “Your going to die now,”
Dean grabbed Lynn, “Don’t you dare! Do it again, see where it gets you!”
“You…” Lynn shook her head, in disbelief. “You like her? Why? You kn-“
“Lynn! Leave! Now!”
Jenny wanted to attack Lynn. To really fight her. “Come-on! Fight me dog-chick! Fight if you’re so great!!!”
Lynn laughed at Jenny again, Dean yelled, “Don’t touch her Lynn! That’s an order!”
Jenny looked at Dean, “Wh-“
“How dare you?! You tr-“
Dean tackled Lynn, she was now under him. “How dare I?! I mean it, leave. If don’t, I’ll get to answer to me.”
“I will not obey a tradior. Not someone who will pick a bird over us! Not someone who will kill for someone they just met!”
Jenny looked at Lynn, “Dean let her fight me. She as before. I just disappeared before we finished. And I’ll enjoy kicking her but again.”
Dean got off Lynn, “She can’t. I gave the order already. If Lynn wants to go through all that pain to fight you then that’s all her. And she’s smart enough not to fight me,”
Jenny narrowed her eyes, “Order her to fight me.”
“No.”
Lynn got to her feet, “Dean? Why are going to her side? You acted like this when I-“ Lynn looked at Jenny, “He likes cause you like the stupid girl who got herself killed. His stupid girlfriend.
Jenny nodded, “I know, she was my sister.”
“Really? Well ain’t that sweet?
“How do you know about Ivy?”
“She was the dumbest shape-shifter, we had. She was an ok, fighter. But if she could have had enough common sense to move when a black thing is pointed her, she would still be alive…”
Dean growled, “Lynn, you say another word..”
“You’ll what? Huh? Jane, Alex, and Nate are coming. I told them you need help.”
Dean growled again, he gave Lynn an order she would never do, and if she did, Dean would very much enjoy it. “Lynn? I order you to beg me not to rip your limbs apart.”
Lynn rolled her eyes, “Dean?” Lynn said sarcastically, “Will you please not hurt me? You’re just a jerk…to your own...”
“I order to beg on your knees and mean it.”
Lynn fell on her knees; she stared at the ground in pain. Jenny looked at her, she felt bad. She was about to tell Dean to knock it off, but three new comers had came. Lynn laughed, and then the three looked at her.
“Dean? What did she do?” The girl asked. She had long black hair, with white streaks. Jenny guessed that was Jane, she looked about sixteen.
A boy with chocolate brown hair stepped in, “She probably cut into Dean’s fight….again.” He looked about sixteen also. This was either Nate or Alex.
Jenny looked at them silently, she looked at Dean. He looked at the three, angrily. And he spoke; his voice was harsh, and cold. “What are you three doing here?”
“We were told you wanted help. Us being the strongest you got, came. But I don’t see what you needed help with.” The last boy spoke. He was blond and was about fifteen. Jenny looked at Dean as he spoke again.
“Leave, I-“
“Wait.” The boy came toward Jenny, “Tell me your name.”
“Jenny. What do you want?”
“Snappy.” He looked at Dean, then back to Jenny. “I can see why you’re still alive.” He sighed, “Alex! Come here.”
The blond, Alex went up to them, “Is this girl…No. I thought...”
“She’s not. She’s her sister.” Dean said without looking at them, “Leave he-“
“Dean? Were not stupid. We all saw what you did to that bird who got Ivy. We won’t do anything,”
“Lynn get up. No begging.”
Lynn sighed. The pain was long. She was breathing hard and her hands on the ground. Jane walked over and helped her to her feet. “You should have known better not to make him mad. Especially since that girl looks a lot like Ivy.” Jane looked at Dean, “Dean? You coming with? Or are you staying with her?”
Dean glared, Jane nodded and left with Lynn. Nate was still looking Jenny over. “What were you two? Twins?”
Jenny giggled, “No. She was a year older.”
Nate leaned in and whispered to Jenny, “Be careful. Not all of us are as accepting.” Nate let her go. “Dean? Are you going to b-?”
Nate fell silent when Dean growled.
Alex laughed, “I want to see the first kiss..” He pulled Nate, and started to walk off. But, of course, Nate turned around, and said a lot louder then he should, “He looks at you like he looked at Ivy.”
Dean looked at them, “Nate? Wait. Since you can’t mind yurt own business, give Jane a kiss. Make sure her lips will be able to feel even tomorrow. That’s an order,”
Nate growled. But was in no pain. Alex snickered. “I have to see Jane’s face on that one.”
Dean grinned evilly, “Alex you too. Just because I want you too.”
Alex shrugged, “Ok.”
They both jumped of the roof and ran off. Dean turned to Jenny, “You look too much like Ivy. A lot of stories came from her.”
“Really?” Jenny shrugged, “We did fight a lot. Then she left one day. My parents died, and then it was just me and her. Then one day she left. I didn’t stop her. We never got along. Never. And I have no idea of why I’m telling you this.”
Dean chuckled, “Ivy said the same thing.” Dean looked at the ground.
“My sister was a shape-shifter? How?”
“Well…first she was a bird, like you. Then we met. Soon, she asked me if she could join our side. I said no. The change would be so painful. She begged me almost every day. So finally I took her to the lab. Then well…wella.”
Jenny nodded, “I want to be a shape-shifter. I owe Ivy for not going with her,”
“No.”
“Well, I don’t care for your opinion of this. I’ve never been in a group, I was always on my own, even when I had a family. Ivy was on your side, then so will I.”
Dean looked at her. He stared, thinking. “Umm-…Fine. For Ivy? She said you two never got along. So did you.”
“So? I’m her sister. Her blood. I want to do this for Ivy.”
“You got her stubbornness too.” Dean shook his head smiling. “But fine. I’ll take you. It won’t feel too good. And even after it’s done it still hurts. But…yeah. It stops hurting soon after it’s done.”
“I’m not stupid.”
“You tell yourself that,” Dean lead her off the roof. He ran off, Jenny followed. He walked up to a building. “Come-on.”
Jenny had landed at the door. “What is this place? It’s right here in view and I’ve never see this.”
“It’ll make you a shape-shifter.” Dean walked into the two doors. He walked past a lot of people. He walked in two more doors. He walks some, more. He stopped in front of a door. “Stay here.”
Jenny stopped, and Dean went through the two doors. Jenny heard Dean yell something, but didn’t hear what the words were. Than another voice yell “Not again! No!”
Jenny heard a crash, and wanted to run in and see what was going on, but she stayed where she was.
“Put me down! We are not making another change just so you can have your precious Ivy back!”
Another crash. “You’ll make the change her, or I can change your face.”
Jenny listened through the door.
“This is not going to happen again. Last time. Understand?”
Jenny heard nothing from Dean, but heard footsteps. She backed away from the door just before it hit her. Dean appeared, “Come-on.”
Jenny could tell he was trying to stay calm. She nodded, and followed him through the doors. The room was white. It was huge and had multiple machines in it. Jenny looked over to the man, who was getting up from the floor. He came over to Jenny, “I see.” He looked Jenny up and down, “Alright follow me.”
Jenny followed him, he was tall and had brown hair. He glanced at Jenny and walked into a different room. It was also white, but it was empty. It only had a large metal table in the middle. The man walked over, “Lay here.”
Jenny walked up to it, and she saw how they would change her. She sighed, and got on the metal table. The man put something around her head, stomach, and legs. She was bound, and couldn’t move.
“May I ask why choose to make such a change?”
“For my sister. Ivy and…never mind.”
“I see. You know it will be a painful change right?”
“Yes, I know. But I can’t fight on this side unless I become one.”
The man nodded. “Ok. I hope Dean will go easy on you.” Then he started out the room.
“What do you mean?”
“Power gets to his head.”
Jenny smiled, then frowned. No more freewill? Taking orders? Jenny didn’t like that idea, but it was too late to change her mind. The man walked out. Jenny saw a light, purple, green, and then pink. She braced herself for the pain that was going to come. It felt like a burn. She felt as if she was on fire. She felt as if her insides were on fire. It got worse, she tried to hold in her screams. It didn’t work, she yelled in pain. It started to soften. It was no longer a burn, but it was like her heartbeat. Her body throbbed with ever beat. The light went away, her screams had stopped. What had seemed like forever, someone opened the door. Dean and the man stood next to her. The man undid the straps that bounded her.
Jenny didn’t move, she looked at Dean, he had a teasing smile, “Told you it would be painful.”
“I told you I knew that,”
“Of course you did.”
Jenny rolled her eyes, making her head throb a little. “Get me off this thing,”
Dean chuckled and got Jenny to her feet. “I got some bad news for ya,”
Jenny looked at him, he was smiling at the bad news. Jerk “Bad news, huh? What?”
“You’re going to have to take order from me.”
“Well I got news for you, be careful what you say,”
Dean looked at her, then at the other man, “Can you give us a moment, John?”
John nodded, “Be careful. I’m shocked she’s standing without pain.”
Dean waited, “Can we have a moment, now?”
John walked out of the room. Dean turned to Jenny, “Why did kiss me? When we were fighting?”
“You asked me if I wanted a kiss.”
Dean stared at her for a moment, “No I didn’t. When did I say that?”
Jenny smiled, “You said, what me to kiss you? And make it all better?”
Dean smiled, “Ok. But I should be the one to make you feel better.”
“Wha-”
Dean kissed Jenny. Jenny didn’t move away, she moved closer to Dean. Dean pulled away, Jenny stared at him, “Ok. I’ll take orders, but I order you to kiss me again.
Dean laughed, “Well if it’s an order I guess I have too.” He kissed Jenny again. Jenny put her arms around his neck, she pulled away for air. “Well, I can’t be the only one taking orders. But I guess the world won’t stop spinning if I do listen. I said I guess.”
Dean laughed, “It will. Nobody is going to be very happy about…never mind.”
“What do you mean?”
“Lynn. Still can’t touch you. She’s not a very nice person, when she doesn’t get her way.”
Dean looked up and down at Jenny, “Dose it still hurt?”
“Yes and no. Yes it still does, but not as much as it did.” Jenny turned to the door, “How does she know!? Lynn is here!”
Dean looked at the door, and well enough Lynn came in. Dean glared, “Lynn? What do you need?” Dean asked trying to stay calm that Lynn kept popping up.
“I need your help. Jane is killing Aktio. He kissed her and..”
Dean’s eyes widened, he held in his laughter, “Tell Jane I said cut it out.”
“I tried that. She wants to kill you too.”
“Oh? Why?”
“Aktio said you gave the order.”
“Did Alex kiss her?”
Lynn’s head popped up, she had been staring at the ground. “You told him to kiss Jane too? Count your lucky stars your leader. Wow a lot of kissing today.”
Dean laughed, “If I wasn’t here she wouldn’t be alive.”
“You saved her, you were the one fighting Jane."
“Ok. I’ll got kill Jane in a sec.” He turned to Jenny, “Can y-”
“I’m fine.” Jenny walked over, to the door. “Well come on. I have no idea where they are.”
Dean gave a half-smile. “In a minute, Lynn? Go te-”
“I already told you, I told Jane you were coming.”
“Why?”
“I knew if I came and got you, you would come. But if you star-”
“Lynn. Just shut up and go.”
Lynn looked at Jenny, “Fine I’ll go. But I want to make this clear, I will not take orders from her like I did for Ivy.”
“Ly-” Dean started but Jenny cut him off.
“Fine, why would I order you around? Just leave, Dean said he’d go in a minute. Leave.”
Lynn caught the order. “What did I just say? Didn’t I just say not to give me orders? Di-”
“Lynn! Leave! Now!” Dean stepped at Lynn.
Lynn jumped, she stared wide eyed at Dean. She was silent, and unmoving. Then she snapped out of it. “She’s not Ivy.” Then Lynn turned and left.
Dean looked at Jenny, “I know you’re not Ivy. You look a lot like her, but you’re not her, I know that.”
Jenny shrugged, she walked to the door. “Come on. We-”
Dean held Jenny for another kiss. Neither one moved, neither one breathed, and neither one remembered what they were doing only moments ago. Jenny held the kiss, and braced herself for the break.
