The breeze swayed the trees, whistling through the leaves like the ringing bells of supper. The rustle of the fallen leaves would disturb the silence, as they blew down the roads and crunched underfoot for the human species. A cold wind blew them along raking them from thier perches on the trees to the ground, and laying the gracefully into another persons yard, where in time they would be picked up and thrown away, or dumped into another neighbor's yard. Leaves traveled, died, recomposed, giving the soil new nutrients, for the fellow trees to live off of. One could say, humans were a lot like these leaves.
They could bring music to life, with their own being. They don't need little things to help them make wonderful music. They were blown around, stepped on by others, and thrown into places they didn't want to be. People traveled around, brought new things to life, died, but always had a fertile aftermath. Sometimes, when one person would die, another would follow. People called this friendship. It wasn't hard to find, this quality. It was rather easy for some, just walking up to another and talking to them, or trading a few cards, and you've got a friend, just add water. Others, it was harder. You had to build a barrier, something that the other had to get around, then choose to become a friend.
Enemies on the other hand, were easier to make. It could happen from a miss worded sentence, the stealing of a friend, or less valuable item. Lie here and there, call names, gossip. All these earned you a place on the bad side of somebody, sometimes if the problem persisted, one would become an enemy. There were some people who ha no enemies. There were others that had many, like pennies, that they found lying on the road and giving them a chance to be hated. It wasn't often when these kinds of people would make friends. But, it couldn't be impossible...
Could it...?
Here in this category was the blonde Tennessean named Dakota. She wasn't the best of people to mess with, rather sarcastic, easy to make enemies, hard to make friends, ran with the wrong crowd, absolute loner, couldn't associate with anyone. ... Well, nearly anyone. Just recently, she had ran into a certain Eraser, the first person other than you-know-who to be able to take her down. You probably don't know who you-know-who is, but it makes a good story, yes? So, Dakota rther felt an attraction towards this Eraser, and he felt the same way about her. It seemed like a perfect moment, when they leaned towards eachother, a breif kiss, sparks would fly. Together forever.
Unfortunately, life isn't a Hollywood production. As we have already gone over, Dakota doesn't like to associate herself with another. This wasn't going to be good. See, she isn't the most stable person when it comes to emotions, a downside to be able to read and mess with another persons. Her most prominent emotion at the time had been to run, to get as far away as possible. She was hoping to stay, subconciously, but consequencly, the other overrode. As she was flying, another emotion took over. Most people called this certain emotion insanity.
Yes, Dakota could be said to have gone off the deep end, her mental state more than a little shaky. She had choosen to go to the Mall, since some part of her sanity was still there. If she was going to have to go through with her plan, it might as well be near the Mall. She wouldn't have to do any damage to Fox before being shot down by the S.W.A.T. ... Hopefully. Some part of her didn't want to have to get rid of the problem, and just have someone take her down before she officially was gone. She didn't care if she woke back up in Tennessee, hooked to IVs and what not. She just had to escape the pain of the real world.
Suicide wasn't a choice, she had too much pride. She would go down fighting, if anythng. so, she concluded she would go against her maybe boyfriend Eraser. His name was Fox, if you hadn't picked that up yet. Yes, it was Fox, the boy who said he wasn't interested in girl's, and yet he was there, and they seemed to be together. But, she couldn't be sure. But, something in her kept screaming at her that bad things were going to happen, things that had happened to her before. Erasers and Bird-Kids didn't match. Bird-kids trusted to easily, and Erasers were all for tricking them.
Dakota sat down on a rock, about twenty-feet from the Mall, wondering how she was to find Fox, to get about her plan. It shouldn't be hard, instincts usually took over for her. She sighed, resting her head her hands. She couldn't tell what was right, what was wrong, which way was up, and where was down. The world was spinning, like she was on a carnival ride, and she just had dinner. She felt like she was going to heave, but was every bit exhilarated by the idea. She gave herself an small smile, the evil smirk slipping into place. Waiting. She was good at waiting.

Fox walked around the mall and sighed, his mind in turmoil of what had happened a few days ago. Ever since Dakota had flown off, he couldn't stop his mind from straying to "what next?" he sighed again and walked out of the mall, his hand wrapped around a plastic bag containing the food he needed for the week. He glanced up as a familiar smell drifted and he saw a lone figure adn noticed that it was Dakota. He walked over to her and sat, and pulled out a chocolate bar and started munching on it, at lose of what to say. He sat next to her for an awkward minute and then turned towards her, "sooo, where have you been?" He asked, not sure what to say.
ooc- sorry it was short, it was either short or a really long crappy one XD

Dakota struggled through her mind, trying to figure out what she should do, how she should go about it. Make it obvious so that the S.W.A.T. got involved, shoot her before she ended up really hurting Fox. Or play weak and let him kill her easily. I was so hard to make up her mind, and she couldn't make sense of some of the other things that made their way through her head. What was going to happen? Could it be possible that she would win? Of course not, she knew that Fox wasn't going to go easy if she attacked first.
So lost in this ocean of thoughts, she didn't notice the presence that sat beside her, a light rustling of plastic bag coming from the spot next to her. So far gone, was that she didn't notice the scent, not identifying it was Fox. She was unobservant, and more. But, as soon as the figure near here spoke, her attention snapped back into place, but her stance and else was still the same. She didn't feel like moving, she just had to get this over with.
She gave a tight smile. "I've been... Around. It's just a break," She said quietly, brushing her hair from her face delicately. She stood up, facing him and her face emotionless. "About last time... You... You know too much..." She said, obviously trying to pick her words carefully. "I'm going to have to get rid of you," The voice just barely carried, her eyes narrowing dangerously. "Or die trying," Dakota finished, looking down, as if ashamed, but only she knew that she still had eye contact with Fox. "I'm sorry."

Fox chewed his chocolate bar thoughtfully as he watched Dakota think something over and waited for her to talk to him. When she finally talked to him, telling him he had to die, he smiled ruefully, "Your right, i do know to much. But didnt i promise not to harm you in anyway? And im sorry, but i dont wanna die, and im pretty damn sure you dont either. I've been thinking also, but maybe you are right, being together might not be good, but im pretty sure that neither of us can ignore the feelings forever." He said, looking at her also, "So whats your take?"

Dakota gave a bitter laugh as Fox spoke. "Trying to be the voice of reason, I see. Girl's play that better you see, but when that role is slowly going insane... Well... That isn't the best for either of us, is it?" She commented, her head tilting to the side. Already a distant look came in to her eyes, and that was a sign of no turning back. Some people fought off insanity, but Dakota knew what was driving her, and therby rid herself of both. She fingered something that was tied to her belt, which was in a small case. She wasn't going to use any weapons until she had too. She promised herself that before lunging at Fox and tackling him to the ground and giving him a punch. "With one of us gone, the feelings would disapper," She said softly, just so that he would hear.

Fox snorted, crumbling up the wrapper as he turned, a sad smile on his face, "Or they could intensify." He chucked the wrapper into the trash can , watching as it went straight in. He gave a little chuckle as a congratulation to himself and then turned back to Dakota and answered the distant look in her eyes, "You may think this isn't, but, of course, nothing seems to work out does it." He snorted and continued, "And voice of reason? No, just saying whats on my mind." He said and turned towards her, "And if you think killing me or dieing is the answer, then your seriously messed up...."

Dakota gave a weak smile. "Look who's finally catching on. I am messed up, thing was ever right with me. My life was ruined because I trusted an Eraser, and it's happening again. It's do cliche, I won't say I'm in love," She said quietly, still remaining in her position on top of Fox. "Are you scared? Scared to attack now? Has the little Fox grown soft from just a bird-kid?"
ooc: Sorry. Bad post. I just woke up.

Fox smiled and lowered his head, "have i gone soft? I dont know, maybe i have. Maybe the cold block of ice has finally melted after i realized i can do what i want regardless of what the white coats say. And maybe it finally melted when i refused to fight or the fight just wasnt provided for me and i finally saw life wasent only fighting. And then, YOU came and finished heating up my frozed heart. Maybe i have gone soft, or maybe i became aware." Fox said and glanced back up. "And if you want, you can attack, and ill fight back. Knowing that you'd want it."
ooc- all improvised, and no prob, mines just as bad XD

Dakota's evil smirk faded as Fox started ramblings. Her conscious mind was saying 'it's a trick' but the other was thinking about how that was one of the nicest things somebody had ever said to her. Dakota never had any friends, her parents weren't anywhere near good, the people she liked were abusive, but even if her whole life had been better than it had, she probably wouldn't have been able to say anything better about that short little speech. For a second, her eyes softened from there intense glower, and she looked about to step off of Fox.
Unfortunately, most people are too far gone when they decide to tackle their boyfriend to the ground in the first place. Dakota's glare went dark again. "Most people tend to say that they're going to fight back because they don't want to die, not because the opponent wants them too," She said, her voice taking on a dark undertone. She gave him a smirk, and kneed him in the gut, raising her eyebrows at him. "You were saying?"

Fox felt the wind knocked out of him and took in a shuttering breath, moving slightly under Dakota and smirked at her, kneeing her in the gut and pushing her off, "Maybe, but i've never died before and i cant wait to see what its like." Fox said, grinning, and then ran at Dakota, launching himself in the air and sending two kicks, one after another, at her chest and stomach, feeling the air leave her and her brittle bones shake under the kick."YOU were saying?" He asked, smirking

Dakota felt the wind being pushed out of her as Fox kneed her back, and she fell back off of him. Apparently, he was mor esure-hearted about fighting back than she though he would be. She was slightly detured by her thoughts, about what Fox had just said, and she didn't have much defense from Fox's second attack, and felt the blow full on. It would've been so easy just to jump out of the way, but unfortunately, she hadn't been paying any attention. She gave a out-of-breath grunt like thing, staggering back, before launching herself back at Fox, her fist clentched and swinging it hard at his head, smirking at the force of contact she created, before using her foot to create a mini whiplash effect. She just needed to get more damage on him before he returned the favor.

Fox felt Dakotas hand slam into his head and grunted in pain, falling to the ground, star apperring in his vision. He quickly shook it of and launched himself up, headbutting her in the chin, and then quickly slammed his fist into her solar plexus, putting his whole body behind the blow. He moved back and quickly sent a round house kick towards her head, not checking if she had recovered or not.

Dakota didn't feel the attacks as two seperate attacks but as one, her nervous system completely freaking out on her and her head hurting like the dickens, but she wasn't going to let it bother her. She'd indured more, she could take more, she wasn't just going to give up. She staggered back, pretending like his attacks had seriously injured her, and she shook her head, looking down. She looked like she had given up. Of course, she hadn't. She jumped forward, putting out her hands out in front of her and pushing him to the ground, and giving him a sharp kick to his groin as he went down, and gave another kick so as to give him a quick crack at his head, before jumping back so he couldn't use her closeness as and advantage.

Fox drew in a breath in a gust of wind and groaned, not sure which to grab, his head or his groin. He stayed on the ground for a few seconds before rolling over and staggering up. He turned and growled at Dakota and stood up fully and charged at her and right before he reached her, slid to the ground, sending a kick to her stomach and the as he spun up, swiped the legs from under her and followed up by using the momentum by swinging his arm to the ground, his forearm acting as a sledgehammer against her chest

Dakota smirked as she say Fox lie there for a moment, and it gave her a good idea of where she was going to get with the last of this fight. If he kept staggering like he was from simple moves like such, she wouldn't have to do much. She saw him stagger to his feet and gave him a taunting smile. As he lunged at her, she felt the breathe quickly knocked out of her as her stomach was hit and she found herself on the ground. She felt something crash against her chest, but since the wind was already out of her, it didn't do much against her physical state. She rocked back on her back and kicked her feet up at Fox's face, and was in a quick standing position and gave another sharp kick to his head. She smirked. "Give up?" She taunted, looking rather smug.

Fox shook his head and smirked, launching himself towards her and darted to her back, and grabbed her around the waist and flipped her over, slamming her head into the ground. He quickly heaved her up by the shirt from the ground and kneed her in the stomach, and then made his hands into a hammer and slammed it into the back of her head.

Dakota felt the breathe knocked out of her as she hit the ground with a sharp pain in her head. She didn't pay much mind to the pain, though she could tell that Fox was still on the top of this fight, and she gave a sharp intake of breath. She felt Fox pick her up and knee her in the stomach then another blow to her head. She gave a small groan, the pain surging through her whole body, but she shook her head and pushed herself up to her feet. She wasn't going to give up, and everything about her was reflecting that. She clentched her fists and launched herself at him, taking a jump a few feet before and bringing both her feet up and kicking him hard in the chest, knocking him to the ground and landing on top of him. She was blanking on moves that ran together, so she just pushed his head against the concrete with her shoe.

Fox growled in pain and sunk his teeth into her foot, yanking it away from his neck, feeling the blood gush into his mouth. HE let out a feral snarl and jumped at her, slashing his claws once against her chest and then brought his other claw to her neck, making four small cut that wouldn't be life threatening but would hurt in the long run. He jumped back and gave a smirk and let out a growl signaling it was her turn.

Dakota groaned some what as she felt his claws rake against her skin on her chest and neck, feeling the blood seep through. She pursed her lips and took a rubberband and quickly tied her shirt a bit tighter against her skin to it wouldn't bleed as much, and put her hair up in a messy ponytail. It would be easier to fight that way. She was also putting on a small little act, seeing if she could slightly detur Fox from thinking that she was just messing with him, and, knowing Dakota, she probably would do something like that, and blinked once or twice at Fox. She was testing him, just wondering what he was thinking right now. If she could she was going to try and mess with his head a bit, just wondering if she would be able to work that kind of thing in the heat of the battle. She made no move to attack him, tilting her head to the side curiously at him.

Fox smiled wolfishly back at dakota and launched himself at her, raking his claws across her stomach and then followed with a jab through her gut and pulled his claws back out. He clenched his hand into a fist and used all his momentum and punched Dakota square in the jaw, and quickly followed with a kick the the side of her head. He stepped back and chuckled and taunted her to attack him back.
