Over the next week Demetri and Night (who was now back to being Night instead of Dark/Yue and normal or as normal as she can be) was healing and sadly Demetri, after saving or attempted to save Night, had to return to her family which meant Night would be back to living alone, single, and in New York but at least she was away from the lab. But having Demetri to return to her family, meant going back to France where her family lives.
Well it was now Friday and Night felt the urge to go to the movies and see a horrific comedy or something... maybe Scary Movie 3 or something like that.
(Let's just use our little brains and pretend that Scary Movie 3 is in the theaters)
She just walked there. Long walk but she could use the fresh air after a week stuck in the apartment because she managed to get caught and tortured in a body bag by a bunch of erasers, in a freaking body bag by freaking erasers! She needed the air and by God she was going to get it!
(Night has a terrible case of cabin fever but is depressed because of it)
Night sighed as she walked out of the apartment building. "Wow, it feels like forever since I've had the time for a movie and enjoy it." She sighed again, "but I'm sure it would be better if I could watch it with someone."

Fox sat down at the movies, wondering why he had decided to show up. He popped a skittle in his mouth and chewed on in thoughtfully, recalling what had happened in the past 2 months of solitary confinement due to his killing spree of white coats after they had pumped to much adrenaline into him. No matter how many time he stated it was their fault for injecting something that would increase everything, including blood-lust, and that it wasn't his fault, resulting in an argument between a head and him and the heads death, he had been under lock and key in the experiment lab. He sighed, upset that the side effects of the enclosure had caused him to lose his size a little causing him to look like a tall 15 year old instead of his usually bulky 19-20
He shrugged at this and swallowed the whole bag of skittle, and opened a bag of Dibs, enjoying the ice cream and chocolate crunch combo before sitting down to enjoy the movie as the adverts started playing. He glanced around the movie theater, seeing there was nearly no one alone but him and a girl sitting a few rows down from him. He sighed, having nothing better to do and the company would do him good, he stood up and started walking to wards the girl.
He muttered sorry's as he squeezed between people and sat next to the girl, taking in her black and white locks that covered her left eye and smiled to himself, leaning a little to the right and said "are you here to actually see the movie or am i the only one who wants to move around and get out the house?"

Night snickered a bit. She turned to look at the newly found stranger company next to her. “I’ve been feeling like a captive against the world…” she stopped to think and realized how weird her statement must’ve sounded. Night heard a few shushes even though the movie itself hadn’t started yet. “I haven’t been feeling the best and kind of kept myself locked up to get better so after a few days of rest I got tired of cabin fever and the only way to fix that is to get out of the house… but I’ve been talking too much haven’t I? Sorry…” she turned back in her embarrassment of her over talkativeness. She popped a piece or two of pop corn into her mouth and tried to be as quiet as possible as she sank into her seat with a blush growing over her cheeks.

Fox laughed to himself and received hush's just as the girl next to him had. He shook his head and look back at her and said, "No, you didnt talk that long. People just have a short attention span. And you just seemed to want to say something to someone so i understand" he smiled and looked back up, seeing as how they were showing movies advertisments such as "The Ring" He chuckled at their skewed idea on how to scar people and looked back at the girl, "And why would you lock yourself up? Im pretty sure people would love to interacte with you like we're doing right now. A beautiful looking girl like yourself definately would make alot of friends." He said and smiled, trying to cheer her up and get her to sit back straight in the chair.

She blushed some more at the comments coming from the understanding guy next to her. Night sat back up a bit by a bit. “I have friends but, there are people who don’t like me and then there are those who think I’m weird because my hair and…”
“SHUSH!” someone behind the two complained.
Night turned around and whispered, “Sorry.” Then turned back and tried not to talk anymore.

Fox chuckled as his plan backfired and she blushed even more. He sighed in annoyance and waited until the girl had turned back from apologizing to the two people behind her and said, "Want to leave? Quite frankly, i dont want to see the movie and I'd rather walk around. Care to join me?" He asked, moving a little in his chair to emphasize his point

Night looked at him still blushing, and she was about to answer when she noticed someone in some kind of uniform.
“Excuse me,” said the theater usher “I’ve been getting complaints of talking, can you be quiet or can you just leave? Others are trying to enjoy the movie.”
Night went to apologize to the usher…

Fox stood up and waved his hand in apology, "Yeah, sorry, i was about to leave because i was disturbing the people in theater. I'm not sure about the girl however." He said, nodding his head at the girl who he still hadn't recieved a name for and walked out, waiting at the double doors of the movie, wondering if she would follow suite

Night thought for a moment about her options… 1. I could stay here and watch the movie I paid for, 2. I could leave because the movie will probably be boring or 3. I could leave with someone I don’t know… 3. Sounds good… I could use the company… and he’s kind of cute…
Night stood up and apologized as she walked up to the double doors. “You don’t mind me joining you, do you?” She headed for the theater exit as she waited for answer because even though he offered now that he can clearly see her she wasn’t sure that his offer would still be valid…

Fox smiled and nodded when she asked if she could join him and quickly followed her, unsure of where to go for a second. A resounding growl emineted from his belly and quickly answered his question, "Want to go get a burger or 10?" He asked, looking around the mall for anything with a burger slapped on it or the smell coming from it

“That works.” Night pointed to a burger joint of some sort and walked over with him.
After ordering an iced caramel latte and a couple of bacon burgers she watched the young man order quite a lot more. Night headed for a table to wait for their order to be ready and that would take awhile with the number of goods the boy ordered. But Night figured it would give them time to talk without food filling and blocking their yaps.

Fox said his order to the cashier who looked at him in confusion then around him, making sure that he didnt have a party, "Are you sure you want 12 and not 2?" She asked, still not able to believe that he wanted 12 burgers. Fox nodded, hungry seeing as he hadn't had any sustaining food in over 2 months and repeated, "12" The woman shrugged and spoke into the mike, stating she needed an order of 12 double bacon cheeseburgers for number 127. Fox sat down at the table the girl was sitting at, waiting for the food that would take a long time to make and took a sip out of his coke. "i still havn't gotten a name yet. May i ask what it is?" He said, stirring the drink with his straw

“You do realize you just ordered a dozen burgers not cookies right? Oh, but my name is Night. I don’t think you gave me yours but I may have just missed it.” She looked at her latte thinking how stupid she must’ve seemed not hearing his name (if he said it) and then asking for a repeat.
“So what made you want to invite me to go with you?” She thought that talking would hopefully hide her stupid feeling. Night glanced up from her cup without moving her head up, so her bangs gave cover to her glance. “Maybe I should give you a chance to talk…” she looked back down to her drink waiting for answers…

Fox nodded and said "Yes, i am fully aware of the fact i am eating 12 burgers." and smiled. He shook his his head, "I have not in fact told you my name, which is Fox. And no, please continue talking. Any interaction with a human is fine with me. Lord knows i need it." He said and chuckled, "And because you seemed different than the other people at the movies, not in a bad way though." he finished and shrugged, glancing at the burger join to see if his food was ready

Night quietly blushed a bit. “Moms always said don’t talk to strangers; they never said anything about strange people.” She looked and noticed the growing pile on a tray and figured it was for Fox. “Looks like they are really working on it… your tray of burgers I mean. But that name is kind of strange but in an ‘earthy’ kind of nature way. I’m not really complaining I mean with my name and hair…” She looked down again. “I admit, however, I’m not considered by most to be…”
“Order 127 is ready!” The cashier hollered, interrupting Night.
“I guess we should get our food before it gets cold.” She was almost grateful to have been stopped mid sentence because this overly attractive looking guy was enjoying her company or that’s what it seemed like. But she was going to ruin it with what she was saying.

Fox wondered what she was going to say but she was right that the food would get cold to he stood up and walked over, nodding his thanks to the flustered cook and walked back, sitting down and demolished two of the burgers in three bites. He looked back up, and looked at Night, "What were you going to say?" He asked wanting to know why she broke off flustered and didnt continue even when the order had been finished being called out. He smiled and said "And thank you for the compliment on the name."

Night looked at him and nodded her ‘you're welcome’ and went back into her head to think of what to say. She looked down again, “not human… most people see my hair and think it is impressive, like ‘wow your colorist is amazing’ or they think it is weird and wrong ‘eww, freak’ stuff like that but those who know and hate me just all around despise me to the point of calling me inhumane… between my past and some of the jobs I do… I’m sorry I must be downing the moment.” Night chuckled nervously, “Downer mood, bad for the digestion…” she chuckled again.
Night looked at her watch and saw it was nearly 5:00 p.m. and would have to get to work soon. “Sorry, I’ll have to leave in a little while…” she said in all honesty, though she felt comfortable and didn’t really want to leave she would have to go to work or her employer would panic and lose it without her around.

Fox frowned, upset that she had to leave so early. "Mind if i join you? I have nothing to do and alot of money to blow from my...bosses." He said, wondering what he should call the white coats. He glanced at her, and shook his head, adressing what she had said, "I find nothing wrong with your dampaning of the mood, everyone needs to let out what they want and who am i to have the right to stop that? So go ahead and talk, issues are resolved with the help of others right?" he said.

A feverish blush exploded across Night’s face. “But you don’t even know me why would you want to waste your own time listening to a stranger's thoughts?” She was smiling when she said this even though she was embarrassed by his words. “Well, I have to go to work and I work at a bar slash dance club called Moon Light Rose… um, my friend Allison owns the place but made me bar manager and bartender… I have to be there by 5 p.m. and it’s about a little after 4:00 p.m. but if you want to come I guess it wouldn’t hurt.”
It seemed he was almost finished with his tray of burgers but Night sat finishing her latte as her own curiosity started to stir within her and it started to mix with anxiety in her chest. “Who is this guy? How can he possibly feel comfortable around me like this?” Night had a mental gasp and she realized this… “What was going on… looked like a first date! Well with a few differences. 1. We’ve never met… but I guess there are blind dates. 2. I’m not kind hearted like him. 3. This isn’t a date… we just bumped into each other and he said he’s bored and wants to be out and about and thought coming with me would mean company.” But the thought of what it looked like stayed in her head for a while.
While these ‘dateable’ thoughts were going through Night’s head she overheard some girls and their dates and families with some young kids make a few whispered insults that would be heard to hear all the way in a far back corner from the front ordering station.

Fox chuckled at the blush and said, "Did she dump it all onto you or does she work also? Because that would suck if you worked by yourself." He glanced around and shook his head at the whispered comments but ignored them, hoping Night would too. ooc- really sorry for short post, i need to study  |
