Well, since Halloween's coming up (along with Kiyunalia's b-day lol), any plans to do for this spooky day? My school sucks because we're not allowed to dress up on campus for Halloween and simply put it as "Orange and Black day." They said that it would "distract" us from learning if there's people in costumes. That really doesn't make any sense because we're practially the only school in the entire district that doesn't allow us to do that while even the high schools have done so. In fact, when I was looking at my sister's yearbooks, I saw a picture of her friends that went as the Akatuski and stuff and another picture of two random dudes as ballerinas; pink tutus and all and they were even doing that pirouette pose. xD (If they allow that in high school then why couldn't a middle school like mine do the same? =/) Okay, so enough of my rant. For school, I'm just wearing a cute black blouse with a matching skirt stolen borrowed by my sister. Black shoes with black knee-high socks with orange Mardi Gra beads and an orange ribbon tied on my hair (or headband, whichever ones I found first). For trick-or-treating (CANDY!!!! x3), I'm going as my OC whom I mentioned from my artwork topic but it's a different look from what I've posted up. Mainly because I haven't drawn it yet, and I will might draw it if my boredom meter's on that level. lol I'm even gunna have someone draw a pair of tribal-styled wings on my exposed back just for a very tiny referrence on MR. ^_^ Apparently, I'm even considering going as Ki next year and get myself WINGS!!! xD So what are your plans? ;D

Wow Kiyunalia! That sounds pretty cool! You should totally post some pictures! Yeah, at my school only the seniors are allowed to dress up. Stupid seniors. *mutters* How lovely, Fox. Me, I'm going to have to skip halloween this year. I got recruited to a raiders competition and I'm going to be running five miles with 35 pound bag and 150 pound stretcher, intense PT, obstacle course, rope bridge, and camping. I was going to get some black fishnet stocking and wear my lacy black skirt with some shirt and a ton of makeup, but yeah...

XD My comtume was odd... I used a black button down velvet dress with like HUGE pockets from the 80's. And black fairy wings and carried arund a a plastic scyth calling it my magical stick of doome and awsomeness. I also made myself look frozen and there was even fake ice on my face over my eyebrows and on my cheek. I'm going to be max iggy or fang next year, not shure which yet. Ki you should try to make theese wings and like coat them with feathers. www.instructables.com/id/Articulated-Wing-Framework/That's what i'm ging to do.

So Yeah Halloween is over now, defiantly, but as it is my favorite holiday of the year (not cause I'm goth or anything like that <.<...>.>...) Mostly because it's the one day a year I can dress up as crazy as I want and no one can say a word about it...Also the candy's not bad either! ;D
So any-who's I spent the week beforehand working in a haunted forest as a zombie, it was voted that I had the most gruesome and bloody costume that looked realistic woot! And then for the actual day of terrors I walked around town with me best mate Kris as a bloody vampire schoolgirl. (she was a hippie)
It was a ton of fun walking around town cause I got a LOT of weird looks and scared a bunch of little children. Then there was the fun of how Kris dropped her cell and when we finally walked halfway across town we found it under a tree. But the shenanigans didn't stop there! As soon as we found her cell and walked once again 1/2 way across town I noticed that I dropped my mom's cell and well long story short- it was exactly where Kris's was and we kept repeating that process over and over again like 5 times before calling it a night. ;D
I'll post a pic of the vampire costumes later today but now I have to go to school -sigh-

OMG, I love these threads. Okay, as Cain brought up, Halloween is over. But it's so fun to recount the night.
Okay, so for school I was a Gothic Mummy, because my mom's friend convinced my mom that it was okay to where scary stuff on Halloween. But, unfortunately, the tights that I wore, which looked just like the ones in the picture "Made me look like a hooker" as said by a kid in our class. So, it was Halloween, and I had NOTHING to wear without all the guys calling be a hooker. SO, when I got my band of friends together--Mother would let us go without a parent all the way around town if there was at least five-- and we had a sleepover party.
So, Heather was the devil, Tif was an angel, Ab was a football player, Tash was... I can't see in the picture, Jinx was Little Red Riding Hood the bad version, and Z was a witch. Now, Carmen and I were the most fantastic. We were nerds, and it was amazing. We wore basketball shortsm with capris under them. Knee high socks, with a different color sock pulled all the way up, and ankle socks that were another color. Converse. A long sleeve shirt, with a three quarter sleeve shirt, with a tank top, and a belt just on the tank top part. And our hair was pulled into amazing ponytails on the sides of our heads.
I will ask my mom and see if I were to blur the pictures of where we were and what we look like if I can put up the picture, but you'll probably just have to imagine it. =P

hahaha, I remember back when my mom was just like that except I never told my mom about putting pics online. Oh and I love how someone would actually say that, jeeze aren't boys great. -eye roll- Oh my god, but you remind me of the Halloween I had last year when I went with my friend Bre who dressed as a dark fairy and since I completely had no money whatsoever and had waited till last minute, was a sort of bunny girl. Yeah so if you thought that tights were bad lol. But yeah I went to school with the bunny tail and ears on with a pair of high-heels and that was a ton of fun. Then when Bre and I were actually trick-or-treating, everyone kept asking what we were, like it wasn't obvious, so we ended up saying we were bisexual bunnies looking for someone to rape. Ah, good times, good good times! lmao but then there was this house that had a sign on the door saying " kissing booth" and of course we ran up there and it turned out the sign was just to keep away all the little kids and since the sign worked so well, we got tons of candy for being brave enough. Btw the guy with the sign on his door was like 19 and was dressed as a clown from ICP! Oh yeah I told you guys I would give you a pic of my vampire costume so here it is!Ok wow I never really looked at this pic since that night and I prolly was high of a sugar rush by the time we took a picture. but hey here you go enjoy our faces! I'm on the left and Kris is on the right, god we're dorks!

I shall revive this thread by saying I'm a proud idiot who has been planning this year's costume for months now (also known as a cosplayer). ;D This year, I have decided to go as Faith from the game, Mirror's Edge. Since I have already gotten the yellow Runner's Bag as seen in the game as last year's Christmas present. What better way to use it as a great prop for my Faith cosplay? Plus, with the added fact that I'm Asian with the same body type (albeit, I'm shorter, but I'm still growing dammit ... or at least I hope ._.; ) it makes it even more perfect for me to do this cosplay. Now, all I need to do is to know how to put on the eyeliner correctly, sharpie that tattoo, and actually start doing parkour. LOL And what's kind of funny is that my hair used to look almost exactly like Faith's when I was little. So when I finally be brave enough to chop my past-shoulder-length hair off, it wouldn't be at all a brand new hairstyle for me, 'cause I did had it years ago. XD

Oooooh, I love that game. I approve very much. ^_^ I still think they spent too much time climbing pipes indoors, and not enough time roof leaping, but it was still a good game, and a good costume, too. You'll have to send us a picture! I personally stopped going out ToTing a couple years ago. I had no friends to go with, and all it was for me was unwanted exercise for a bag full of candy! (The other... oh, let's say two bags would be chocolate, which I happen to hate with a vengance.) Does anyone else find that ironic?
Thought so. But I do have a fun time handing candy out to the little kids that pass by. They certainly are cute. X)

^ My complaint about Mirror's Edge is that it's too short and had trouble in terms of executing the story. Since there's currently a Mirror's Edge 2 in the works (and later on a 3rd game, they did intend to make the entire thing a trilogy, after all), I'm hoping to see much improvement from the previous one.
So let's see. I got the tank top that I needed to add the white lines on the sides, got the shoes that I'm gunna paint red and black to look very much like Faith's actual shoes, er, learning how to put on eyeliner correctly is still in the works (I'm a tomboy, mind you), the only thing I really need to do was to get a good pair of white cargos. Still a good month and a half left, but I don't wanna be where everything's cramming at the last minute. ... Geez, I could have used this method with school projects but Halloween's much more fun than school, obviously...
