The silence of the night time world around her... how she missed it, as she walked threw the streets of the city, completely alone. But this young teen was used to being alone. When you trusted no one, you were often along. I probably deserve to be alone, I did bring it upon myself... But oh well...' She thought sadly. She looked around herself sadly, as her long silvery blonde hair flew around her narrow place. Her grey/blue eyes where so sad, that one look in those deep innocent eyes of hers, and you couldn't help but want to help her.
Not that she would let you, mind you. She is completely, and always would be so, independent. She hated to be helped with anything. In her mind, she couldn't trust or rely on anything. She just couldn't. It was against her nature. Everyone else in this crazy mixed up world only want to hurt you. Those humans who had made her the way she was, had proved that most expertly.
She bit back a sob, and narrowed her eyes up at the stars. The very stars that glimmered and glinted, the only promising light in all the darkness. Oh, why can't I be like that? Why can't I find any small pinpoints of life threw this cold darkness that makes up my life? Surely I wasn't made to live such a depressing life? She thought to herself, almost praying. Her eyes had wandered to the stars above, and she was now standing still. Her arms where tightly wrapped around her narrow midsection.
She sighed, feeling the slick trail where a tear had slinked down the pale skin of her cheek. She angerily rubbed at it, taking her anger out upon herself, upset with herself for showing this sadness. She should have known better then to do all this. She forced her mind to go upon a different thought. Her feathered wings twinched from where they where hidden, folded against her spine.
She smiled slightly. That would be the perfect way to get away from all this... this... depression she was feeling. She could picture it in her mind too. To be able to just forget everything, and take off into the night.
She ran threw the city, searching for a completely dark alley. Finding one, she ran in, and let her wings slip threw the nearly invisible slits of her clothing, the large white wings stretching out to their full length as she stood sideways. She flapped them quickly, getting their power up before jumping into the air. It took her a few wing beats to get herself to stay airborn. With a few more pumps, she was up in the sky. Her light colored clothing, hair, and wings made her look like a large star against the black sky... She looked totally.... stellar. Or, Stella I guess.
Stella let her eyes fall shut as the wind wiped threw her silvery hair, as it so appeared beneath the light of the moon and stars. She smiled, as she locked her silvery white wings in place, and smiled brightly. This was the way to go. To relax, and be up here in the sky. She twirled, folding her wings in slightly, so it was like a torpedo in the air. Suddenly she almost fell straight from the sky as a vision hit here. It showed her talking to another, up here in the sky. The avian-human hybrid looked around, wondering who was about to see approach her. Then suddenly the girl heard the sounds of wings flapping easily threw the air, and she glanced around again. Where on earth was this other person coming from, and who were they?
She waited nervousily for the person to finally show itself.

Atsuko walked across the city, his hood pulled over his face as he glanced around the empty streets. it had been a long time since he had been outside in the city at night every since he was captured and he embraced the cold breeze and stars, looking up at the big dipper, or "big soup maker" as his brother called it.
He turned his gaze from the stars and continued his walk when he saw a girl about 4 years older than him on the street. He quickly hid behind an ally, he had felt a familiar felling cross through him, a tingle across his body. That girl was different, he wasn't sure how, but he felt it. He opened up his wings through the slits in his shirt and ran forward, climbing up his force field stairs he mad until he was high up into the sky and turned invisible, so he wouldn't be seen, and then jumped, pumping his wings and circled above the girl. When she jumped into an ally and suddenly pulled out white wings, he chuckled to himself and patted himself on the back, he had been right! she was an avian like the rest of them. he watched her pump her wings and shoot out into the sky, flying north of him.
He chased after her, trying to keep his invisibility up, and watched her to a few aerobatics in the sky until she suddenly stopped and glanced around nervously around, until she looked directly at him, he undid his invisibility and drifted over to her. he smiled and said, "you must be new around here, no?" he asked hovering in place

Stella turned to see a young boy, a few years younger then she suddenly appear out of now where. A flightly look suddenly appeared in Stella’s wide blue/grey eyes. Her wings itched to get away from this person. He approached her, and Stella’s scared expression merely intensified. She had learned very long ago never… absulotely never to trust others. And thus, she doubted that she could trust this boy. Even if he had wings like she did. ”You must be new around here, no?” His voice reached her, and she blinked slightly.
A frown appeared upon her almost angelic face, was it that obvious… Of course it had to be for him to realize this already. She hesitantly nodded, her eyes wary. ”Yes… I… am.” She said slowly, as if trying to decide whether to speak at all. And indeed she was debating that, as well as wether or not she even wanted to stay in this boy’s presence. Their was a reason Stella avoided others. And she would rather not be reminded of it, so soon after she finally managed to get away from the stupid asylum/lab/thing they had kept her in. They being the evil humans.
”W-Who are you?” She asked, her soft voice full of fear. Her eyes darted around searching for an escape as she had asked this, hesitantly she added, ”I’m… S-Stella.” She stuttered, forcing herself to only give her nickname. It was difficult to trace Stella back to a name like Kristella Starr.
She waited patiently for the boy to speak again.

Atsuko watched the girl as he moved towards her and saw apprehension, and that she was also scared. He saw her blink to his question and waited for an answer.
As a frown stole her face, she nodded and answered "yes... i am". She looked as if she was debating talking to him at all, seeing as her wings were twitching like mad. He looked into the older girls eyes and noticed the same fear and untrustfulness that he had come to terms with when he first escaped and noted that
As he was staring at her, her voice startled him when she had asked who he was and that she was Stella. He looked at her and said, "My names Atsuko. I'm one of the few bird kids around here who are in a group called the elite lead by this bird kid named jehte. And how about you?" he asked, "Did you just escape from the school? Or have you been roaming?" He asked.

Stella hated the feeling that she was gaining from him, the feeling that she was being studied, 'Like the school all over again.' She thought to herself. Then this young boy finally gave her, his name... Atsuko. And he was part of a bird kid group here? It confused her, but her thougths were postponed when he asked about her story, wether she had just escaped, or had she been roaming the lands alone. Stella looked out along the horizon with a wistful look, but stayed put. She didn't trust anyone to turn her back to them and take off. "I... s-suppose you could say I-I'm a in the middle of b-both." She commented. Her words were still stuttering as her fear of what was happening, and her very evident distrust of others were displayed upon her angelic face. "I... I recently managed to finally get out of the a-asylum, as they were calling our sect of the labs. I had managed to get the other kids out long before I managed my escape." Her voice trailed of, as she thought about the others... She hoped they had managed to live life officiantly. "I've been wandering alone, trying to get my life back under my feet these last 5 monthes since I made my escape." As she had spoken her voice had gotten stronger. She posed, wondering abut the elite? What was that? She voiced this question, "What is... the elite?" She asked him softly.[/color][/blockquote]

Atsuko nodded and stopped studying her, seeing that it discomforted her seeing that she still stuttered. "Well, the elites are basically the main "flock" of birds. Their the biggest group of bird kids which is lead by a girl named Jehte." He said the sneezed. Rubbing his nose he continued, "Their are two other factions called Heuruex and Mosca but there has been no bird kids that have joined them so their has been a total domination in the "Elite" flock although there is never a fight for territory." As he said this he spread his hand out wide, indicating the city, "This, as you see, would have belonged to the Heureux, and because of the alliance between all three factions we can walk in certain areas without being denied." Atsuko took a deep breath and continued. "Waaaaaaaay over there are the Vigils territory which consists of a secret lab hidden somewhere in their forest. Trust me, unless you want to be ripped to shreds by the boss and co-leader, Fox and Tagg, never go there on your on will." Atsuko nodded finally done with his explanation, "Sorry, it was a little more detailed then i think you wanted but these are need to know facts. Any other questions?" He asked politely, looking at the girl innocently
