Her long absence from simply everyone in both the bird kids and erasers side had taken a good toll on her fugitive-like life. After all, the last erasers vs bird kids fight she became involved in was near the Peachtree Mall in New York and that was months ago! But the more she fought, the more she had begun to get sick of it. Of course, Kiyunalia must do so in order to keep away from the hell she spent her early years in. But she kept wondering when will it truly end?
That's when she decided to truly go into hiding.
She found a family in Arizona willing to help her and even went as far as adopting her so she could live with them. Kiyunalia, the freaky girl with the bird wings who grew up in a science lab, was no longer her identity as she lived among the family. Kimberly Lynn Wilson, the newly adopted girl who grew up in the streets but later was picked up by an out-of-state orphanage, was the girl she now decided to go as.
Kiyunalia's beloved rats, Dusk and Moon, were informed by Kim that they could not be with her anymore, for the sake of leaving any trace of Kiyunalia's existence behind. She could see that the rats weren't at all too happy with the decision, given all the times they had been together. But they could see that their mistress was in need of a new life. One that could actually make her happy. For that, they agreed with the situation. Kim hadn't seen them for months now.
Today was a day like any other Saturday. Kim did her normal morning routine as she stepped in a shower and quickly got dressed. Routinely she put on her long, dark wig in place before stepping down the stairs for breakfast. Her parents left earlier in the morning for work and won't be back 'til around dinner time.
"Hey, Bassie." she greeted her adorable tan and brown kitten.
Bassie mewed in return, as her owner starting pouring cat food in the food bowl. Kim then went on into serving herself the leftover bacon and macaroni and cheese from last night's dinner after reheating in the microwave.
"Can't you just save some for me?"
Kim turned around, now having the six foot High School junior at her view.
She smirked at her brother, "In all the past months you have known me, didn't it sank in that I'm a big eater?"
Devlin rolled his eyes, "Not as much as the fact that you hardly gain weight after eating all that."
"Yeah, I'm the envy of all girls 12 and up." Kim replied, sarcastically, "Just get a bowl so I'll spare some to you. Where's Ryan and Garret, anyway?"
"Still snoozing after trying to level from 50 to 60 in Perfect World last night." Devlin shook his head, amused at how addicted his brothers are with that MMO.
Kim placed a 1/3 of her very large portion to Devlin's bowl, "Can't blame them. They're trying so hard to earn the title, GameMasters. It's kind of sad."
Devlin took the bowl and started eating, "Sad that they'd probably not gunna have dates to their prom?"
"Not that sad. I'm pretty sure they'll be taking their game-addict girlfriends there."
"If they could find girls like that."
"That's not their sister." Kim added on to his last sentence. Sure, the girl loves to play Perfect World International as well, but not necessarily up to the point of addict level like her 13 and 15-year-old brothers. Her highest character on that game is only 26. Nothing that special about it.
"So how are you going to spend this lovely Saturday? Hanging out with Sarah and the others?" Devlin then asked, after stuffing his last bite of mac and cheese.
Kim nodded, "They're coming here in a couple hours, having a movie and video game marathon. Mom and Dad had prepared some of the food in the fridge so we could eat during the day."
"No wonder why the fridge became too full all of the sudden. I thought it was your appetite that had gotten bigger than it already is."
"Dev," Kim half-whined. She swore she could never get through a day without her oldest brother joking about her eating habits.
Devlin could only chuckle, "I know. You're a big girl and need all the nutrients you need to be strong and healthy. I better go before Boss-man decided to fire me. Make sure Ryan and Garret not scare you guys with their game nerdiness."
"I said it's also a video game marathon, dolt." she said, reminding him that she and her friends are a bit of gamers themselves. Nearly half of them are male, so it is to be expected, anyway.
Her brother shrugged off the nickname and walked out of the front door, "I'll see ya."
"Where's Tyler?" Kim asked one of her best friends.
Sarah Dale grabbed a cookie and ate it before answering, "He said he's going to bring along a friend. Something about the kid of his parents' friends from out of state or whatever and they're visiting for a bit."
"That's cool." Kim commented, wondering what the friend is going to be like, "Guys, what are you doing to each other besides the obvious pwning attempts?"
Trevor Greer was literally abusing the controllers, trying to get the fighting combos as fast as possible. Lia Nash was doing the exact same thing on her part, although, not as experienced.
"He keeps on cheating with the hidden combos!" Lia complained.
"Nu UH! You're just being a noob." Trevor replied, smiling at his consistent victories over his friend.
"Hey! I already had to face that with Garret and Ryan, I don't want another pair that literally worships video games." Kim scowled.
"Or maybe you just had bad luck with how you choose your friends!"
A split second later had Trevor with a pillow smacked on his face before the doorbell rang. Kim immediately got up from the comfort of her own couch, assuming Tyler Vang finally came with his friend. When she opened the door she recognized Tyler's dyed red hair and heartwarming smile in front of her. Kim nearly smiled back before realizing who exactly was the person right next to him.
She was able to recognize the vibration signature.

(ooc - Forgive me for having the opening post be THAT long. It's the nature of a fanfic writer and I can't help that since it explains Kiyunalia's very long absence in canon. ._.;
I have a solid idea of what's going on in this thread thing, so there's going to be possible godmodding for heads up. Anyone that wishes to post on here in particular should give me a PM about it and I'll tell you what is going to happen in this particular RP.
Also, this is what I imagined "Kim" to look like. To further hide from her previous existence, Kiyunalia now has her hair cut very short and wears a black wig at nearly all times. Kim's reason is because she has Alopecia Areata.)
