BTW THE WHOLE TITLE IS-
FYI: Vampires don't like their daughters becoming werewolves.
You wake up in an unfamiliar bed.
You lay for a second, blinking sleepily, then shot up when you remembered what had happened.
You were in Jade's room (tall, green eyed, dark haired guy?).
You surveyed the room, taking in the dark curtains covering the window, a small dresser, the bed, and then finally Jade, who lay spread eagle on the floor, asleep. What a man.
You got up, and stepped over him. Shrieking in surprise when his arm shot out and caught your ankel.
You crashed into the floor, and lay there, momentarily stunned.
"Did I hurt you"? Jade asked, his face looming over yours.
"No". You wheezed, trying to catch your breath. "Sleeping werewolves grab me by the ankle all the time and scare the living (insert four letter word of your choice) out of me"!
"Oh," Jade looked confused "So are you hurt or not"?
"Never mind". You sighed, trying not to laugh, and pulled yourself back into standing position
Jade had explained everything last night. Apparently he was the son of a well known pack leader and you were to stay with them and become a werewolf. Nice huh? That part had just freaked you out a little.
Jade had killed Drake yesterday and apparently that would start a small war between the vampires and werewolves. As if there wasn't already one. That's just the short way of putting it.
Jade pulled himself of the floor with a grunt and disappeared through the door. You stared at the Jade sized impression left in the carpet then followed.
"You must be Tria". A girl, probably in her late twenty's, greeted you once you got to the kitchen.
You smiled back at her, not really knowing what to say.
"All right Tria. I'm Ellie, and I usually cook and clean for these goons". She gazed around the kitchen fondly and you noticed that a wolf form sat under the table.
"That's Tork". She said with a funny little smile. "He's the real reason I'm here". Oh, his lover.
"Nice..." You said. How awkward was this? One stupid soap opera obsessed person to another.
Seeing that you didn't have anything better to say, Ellie coughed and went on. "Would you like some breakfast"? "I definitely do". Jade appeared from the closet where he had been rummaging, with an armful of food. "This looks about right, but I could always eat more". He looked at Ellie hopefully.
"Not you". She chided him. “Tria”. She looked at you expectantly.
"Oh, I'm fine". You told her. You didn't really think you could actually eat now.
"Suit yourself". Jade said, tearing open a pack of noodles and crunching them raw.
"Were going to the store, next door". He told Ellie, after he had finished his meal.
"To get her some clothes"? Ellie asked.
"What store is it"? You asked, praying that it wasn't some girly shop.
"Victoria's secret". He said, his voice and face dead serious as he found a stray noodle and ate it. Then he glanced at you and burst into laughter, seeing your horrified look. "I was just kidding. I forget what the store is called, but they definitely have 'non-girly' clothes".
"Well lets go then". You said, ready for a little bit of action.
"Yeah, the faster we get clothes the better. You're really starting to smell". He teased.
You glanced at him, surprised that he was already acting so formal around a complete stranger, but you couldn't help smiling. It must be some werewolf thing or something.
You decided to respond with your own way, whether it was formal or not, and slugged him in the shoulder.
"Ow". He whined. "Oh wait! It didn't hurt"! You rolled your eyes and he snickered.
The shop turned out to be some kind of weird outdoors shop. Just right. You bought some black cargo's, a few tank tops, and other stuff that you don't need to bore yourself with a description of.
You followed Jade moodily through the clothes. He was actually enjoying this.
"Why do you seem to like this"? You asked him after you guys had gone through the entire store and you were checking out. You now had some of your newer, ‘slightly’ cleaner, clothes on.
"I don't know". He shrugged sheepishly. You guessed he didn't do this kind of stuff very much so it was something different for him, routine is hard for some people. But that’s only a guess.
As you were walking out you noticed that Jade was suddenly quite.
"Whats up"? You asked.
"Nothing". He said stonily.
Bipolar freak. You left him alone, not wanting to make him angry. If he could snap Drake's throat, just thinking about what he could do to you made you shiver.
You rode back to the house in silence, Jade's jaw was tensed and he kept looking out the back window. You turned around a few times to look but only saw a little old lady driving a green car. You started to notice that you weren't headed back towards the house and Jade started to drive faster and more jerky. The turns we took felt like a roller coaster. Finally you couldn't ignore it anymore.
"Please tell me what is wrong"? You begged, slightly nervous.
"Vampires". He said calmly, his eyes never leaving the road, but his fists were clenched on the wheel and his neck throbbed.
"Where"? You asked, turning around to stare at the old lady in the green car again.
"In front of us". You looked ahead to see a deep red car with tinted windows in front of us.
"Why are we following THEM"? You asked, surprised.
"We have no choice". Jade answered. You could hear a deep rumbling but you couldn't find where it came from. You looked out the back window and the old lady had been replaced by a dark looking woman, in a black truck. Then I realized, the rumbling was coming from Jade. He was growling...
You sat in the seat, confused, not knowing what to do.
"Hold on". Jade said suddenly, and before you could do anything you turned sharply onto a smaller road. You turned around to see the woman in the truck following close behind. She looked angry now. You held on to the handle of the door as Jade sped across traffic, cars honked and tires squealed.
"Jade"!!! You warned him as another car, this time silver, flew out of a side street and pulled up next to your car.
"I see them". He growled. The silver car lurched towards us and Jade jerked it wheel hard to the right, narrowly avoiding the Mercedes that had appeared on the other side.
"I think were surrounded"! You said.
"No duh, smart one". Jade's eyes had gone stony and the irises started looking a little wolfy. You hudled against the door, slightly in shock.
You noticed that their seemed to be less and less people on the roads. Even though it was still morning, a storm was rolling in. Five cars surrounded you and Jade now.
"Whatever you do, stay in here". Jade yelled, pulling over quickly and jumping out of the car. Then you did one of the stupidest things that you have ever done. You jumped out after him.
"Tria, get back in the car"! Jade yelled, furious.
"To late now". The female hissed, sliding out of her truck.
"Not that it would of helped any". The Mercedes driver commented, begging to circle you and Jade.
"Don't you dare touch her". Jade yelled, leaping at the male while transforming mid-air. The male hissed in surprise as Jade hit him, then crumpled, screaming.
"Jade watch out"!! You screamed, as four vampires surrounded him. He looked up at them, his muzzle covered in blood.
"Now what to do with you"? The Mercedes driver asked, walking closer to you.
"Don't touch me". You snarled defensively.
"Don't be so harsh". He crooned, appearing behind you and wrapping his arms around You. You tried to cringe away but he held you fast.
"What's this"? He asked, pulling your collar down.
"Stop". You struggled, getting an arm loose and swinging at him.
"I wouldn't do that if I were". He said and I felt the cold bite of steel prick the small of your back. You froze. "Very nice". He smiled. "Now tell me, why do you have fang marks on your neck"?
"As if you don't know". You spat, trying not to move to much as the blade dug into your back.
"Hmm... you are rather bright". The guy surveyed your, his black eyes reflecting the dark grey clouds, rolling closer. "I suppose you already know why I have to do this then". Before you could even understand what he said, I heard a swishing noise, a thunk, then everything went black.
