Dakota narrowed her eyes. "That gives me nothing. I can't give you more for nothing." She frowned. "Unless your a chicken," She taunted, crossing her legs and propping her elbows on her knees, resting her head on her fists. She gave him a sarcastic gaze. "Come on, out with it."

Fox coughed and glanced around the roof, checking if anyone besides them were there. "Well....I kinda, play.... the trumpet." He said, giving her a nervous smile, not sure if she would laugh or not.

Dakota pursed her lips, but she couldn't really hold back. She gave a small laugh, her eyes sparkling with a new found joy. She wasn't happy very much, and smiles were rare. Getting her to laugh was yet another matter. She smirked. "Really? Are you serious?" She paused. "I have another method of talking, if you're interested," She sighed, twirling her hair in between her fingers, giving him a curious gaze.

Fox sighed in frustration, knowing that he would be laughed at, and a little surprised that she had actually laughed. He perked up when she said she had another way of talking and he asked curiously, "Another method?"

Dakota nodded, smirking. "Yeah, I ask you a specific question, such as "do you play and instrument" and then you say "yes" and then you ask a question. It gets us further, and you don't have to talk about yourself." She frowned, glancing at the canvas colored sky. "Do you like the sun's straight points?" She asked, curiously, though not glancing at him.

Fox nodded in agreement to the idea. "Actually, i do. It somehow calms me that something made of gas can do that." He said, waving his hand vaguely where the sun was. "My turn. Whats you deepest, darkest secret?" He asked with a smirk, hoping she would keep the deal and answer, though it kinda upset him that he took advantage of the deal like that.

Dakota smirked as she heard his answer, but it immediately turned to a frown as he asked her the question. She sighed. "I was a mother," She muttered, curling into a ball and looking at the sun rising. "Sad, isn't it?" She glanced at him. "What's YOUR deepest, darkest secret?" She smirked, folding her arms over her chest. This ought to be good.
ooc: SORRY, bad post. >_>

Fox looked up surprised at what she had said, "You were a mother?" Fox said questioningly, stressing the were, "For who, everyone else or your child? Because he would have been lucky having you as a mom" He said, smiling at Dakota. When she asked her question, it was his turn to frown, "I killed my own parents." Fox murmured, turning away from Dakota, and looking over the city, trying to ignore the flow of memories of his mom and dad dead on the floor and his hands covered in blood.

Dakota sighed. "Was. When I was little, I had been raped and gave birth to a son, Cameron. They killed him," She growled, frowning. "Why'd you kill them?" She asked curiously, looking up over the concrete where a battle scene was once. Now, sitting next to Fox, she had the feeling that fights between them weren't going to happen here. But something eerie about this place kept trying to keep her away. If only she knew what.

Fox sighed, "Thats horrible." Fox looked over the original battle field and a angst feeling washed over him. "I dont know. I just dont know!" He cried, pounding his fist into the ground, "One day, i just exploded. The next thing i knew, they were dead before anyone could stop me."

Dakota frowned, but, uncertainly, put a hand on his shoulder. "It's okay," She said softly, looking at him softly. "Do you want to talk about it?" She asked, curling into a ball other than the one hand which she kept on Fox's shoulder.
ooc: Bad post. Parents.

Fox growled and shook his head but continued talking, "Do you know how painful it is to kill your parents at the age of 10? To be the youngest eraser out of everyone? To have killed more times than i should have ever in my whole life?" Fox asked, shaking himself to ignore the throng of thoughts bombarding his head.
ooc- Np, fox is exploding with all the emotion he never showed, sorry if im dumping it all on you XD

Dakota sighed, removing her hand and curling into a ball, holding her knees to her chest. She wrapped her arms around her little ball. She closed her eyes. "I know the feeling. At six I was sent into Eraser training," She sighed, shaking her head. "It doesn't matter though. I probably had it easier than you did," She frowned, glancing at him. "Don't blame yourself. They shouldn't make Eraser's so young," She confided before turning away once again.

Fox sighed and fell back, arms spread eagle to his sides, "My turn." He said as Dakota turned away. "What were you created to do? I mean, what was life back when you were being trained?" He asked, turning his head towards Dakota

Dakota frowned. "I was created so that they could create a form of Eraser that would be a perfect match to a bird-kid, and eventually one that was better. I was also to be used as someone to give back information about the bird-kids," She grimaced. "I managed to get away before anything drastic happened." She smirked. "Do you know why you were created?"

"Wow, brutal, lucky for them that you didn't co-operate with them." Fox said, referring to the groups of bird-kids. Fox shrugged at her question, "Actually, i was supposed to be a cold-blooded leader of the Erasers but i was naturally kind and they couldn't rid me of that feature though at time, when i snap, i enter the state they desired for me to constantly be in. They said i was one of the best erasers made except for my "Fatal flaw" kindness." Fox replied, shuddering at the time he had went into that state against his parent, "For instant, i entered that state when i killed my parents." Fox murmured, trying to ignore the blood lust that was pounding against him to be releashed from just the memory of the moment

Dakota smirked. "Yeah, then we might have already won the battle," She teased. "You're nice? That's funny. Really," She smiled, laughing lightly. "I wish my parents were dead sometimes," She added thoughtfully.
ooc: sorry, parents home.

Fox snorted, "Of course im kind! Im all happy and sunshine!" Fox said, laughing. Fox turned to Dakota when she said she wished her parents were dead, "I could understand that, seeing as they gave you hell. Its your turn for the question by the way." Fox said, waiting for her to ask something.

Dakota laughed lightly. Suddenly, she was at ease around him. It gave her a little shake, but she smiled. "It's you're turn. I asked you 'why were you created' and you answered, but never asked," She smirked, giving him a taunting grin. She looked up at the sky, lost in thought. She didn't understand why she was so comfortable now with Fox around, when a few days ago, she was ready to chop his head off. It didn't make sense. And the fact that they had revived her, even after the Erasers are trying to get rid of the bird-kids didn't make sense either. She sighed, waiting for him to continue.

Fox chuckled, ignoring the taunting grin, noticing the environments tension lessen, relaxing his guard involuntarily. He didnt know why, but he felt calm around Dakota, Fox smirked, remembering the days he wouldnt even talk to a bird-kid, let alone revive one! Fox thought for a moment about his question and said, "Why are hobos attracted to you?" He asked, smirking with his head tilted slightly to the side
