Dakota smirked. "I'd like to get the money myself, thanks for asking," She said quietly. "And you have huge muscles? Come on," She joked, shoving him playfully. "And those must have been some pretty weak guys, if I survived longer than them," She said, still holding the joking tone. She hadn't had a conversation where she laughed, smiled, joked, or anything in a while. "And you gave them roses? Roses, Fox? Seriously."

Fox snorted, shoving her back, "Of course i do. And my god, you dont know how right you are. I thought they would be a challenge seeing as they were slightly bigger than me but pretty much a disappointment. And yes, roses, quite a nice finish if i say so myself." Fox said and laughed

Dakota smirked. "You were right, they DID make you soft" She laughed, smiling. But the frown faded for a bit. "Are you calling my weak?" She said, in exasperation. She pursed her lips, and looked at him sadly. She was just acting, but she hoped Fox wasn't to observative to the fact that she was a pretty good actor. "Fine. I see how it is."

Fox rolled his eyes, "Whatever" he said and then turned sharply to Dakota and frowned, slightly seeing through her facade but not sure if it was real or not. He paused , "Was it something i said?" He asked, saying the words carefully so it wouldn't seem like he didn't know she was acting

Dakota smirked, feeling the emotions of obvious triumpth. She could decipher that he saw through it, and smiled. "You're pretty good at that my friend. But I reccommend keeping your thoughts away from the subject so that your emotions don't give you away," She smirked, falling back onto the metal framework again. "Though, I am glad you could tell I was acting. I really didn't want to hurt your feelings," Her face became serious, and as the words left her lips, she knew that they were indeed true.
ooc: I'm supposed to be doing homework. If I get caught, I'll be in trouble, so I'll have to be careful.

Fox scowled jokingly, "Shot, so close." Fox said and chuckled, "And thanks for the advice." He heard a small ding as she fell back onto the metal framework again and smiled at what she had said, knowing she had meant it. "Awwww, is Dakota going soft? Like me?" he asked jokingly

Dakota smiled and shook her head. "I don't know anymore. Life's too confusing," She replied, glancing at him curiously. "And you're lucky I'm even talking to you. Normally, I'd be avoiding you at all costs, because I'm a girl, and that's what we do," She said, a little bit sarcatic at the end. But, she still had that feeling, the one she got from holding his hand when she died, and she still didn't know if he felt it too. She wanted to know, but she wasn't going to bring it up. She was going to try nad ease into the conversation, or wait for him to bring it up. "So, why were you looking for me?"

Fox snorted and rolled his eyes, "So it seems." He said and chuckled. Fox glanced over quickly and turned sharply back to his forward gaze at the city, hiding his blush and he mumbled, "I dont know, it just felt right to go looking for you. Something was pelting me over and over asking is she ok? Go find out" He answered truthfully, waiting to hear her response

Dakota blushed a bright scarlet at his response, and curled into a ball, trying to hide it. She felt a sudden jolt as she realized what his words could mean, and it through her off balance not knowing being able to just know. "Truefully, I kept thinking that it was just a dream. That it didn't really happen. That you really didn't exsist. But when you came," She glanced at him. "I knew that it HAD happened, and I wasn't going crazy."

Fox watched as a burst of red came up in Dakota's cheeks before she dove into a ball and hid it from him, causing a small smile to come to his lips. He waited and watched as a small jolt went through her body and she looked up, the blush slowly draining away from her face. Fox blushed this time and didn't turn around and he smiled at Dakota, "Looks like the feeling was mutual." He said, chuckling, the blush slowly dying from his face. "I'm no guru of life. But this feeling i had whenever i thought of you was odd. Like a sudden rush through my whole body. A tingling if you will" Fox said, shaking his head, not sure how to describe it

Dakota pursed her lips, and looked at him curiously. How he described it, it basically covered the what she felt too. But, she was unsure to bring it up. She was searching through her own head, trying once again to match the emotions that now swirled through her mind. It was impossible to recall, and she didn't know if she had ever felt this way before. "I..." She paused, shaking her head. "The way... This way, that comes about. I can't place it. It's hard to explain. It's like... Beyond what I can read," She said softly, her eyes closing. "I don't know."

Fox nodded, "Exactly! i've never felt this feeling and my my eraser half is screaming its not natural but my human half is saying embrace it, Its a constant war in my head." He said and then turned to Dakota and looked at her, "And i think the human half is winning." He said, smiling at the thought, "But winning what, im not sure."

Dakota fought with herself internally as he said his next sentence. There was another simularity. "You have to fight against two sides of you. I have to fight to try and remember the past I've so very well forgoten," She said, because in that very moment, she realized the feeling that she, and possibly Fox, were induring, and she was scared. So many bad things had happened because of this feeling. She glanced at Fox, her eyes fulls of sorrow and something like fear. "And I can remember, but I'm scared of the aftermath," She said, blinking, curling further into her little ball, as if that alone could block what she was feeling.

Fox glanced at Dakota as she looked at him and fear and sorrow radiated from her eyes. Fox watched as she curled into a ball and slowly wrapped his arm around her, "what do you mean?" He asked quietly, looking down at her.

Dakota sighed. "It means that more than what you can think. Last time I felt like this only bad things happened, I was sent into Eraser training. Only bad things happen from this, and I don't know why it keeps coming back," She nearly yelled, clentching her fists. "But," She said softly, back to a little less than her normal self. "I don't know if I should fight it, or let it happen."

Dakota sighed. "Maybe, it could be different. But I don't know," She said softly. "And maybe... It's just time for another heartache," She continued, glancing at him. "Have you guessed what I think that we think we might have?" She quieried, knowing that the quesiton didn't make sense, and it probably didn't help she said it extremely quick either.
ooc: It's fine.

Fox sighed and said, "I think its love..." He said, just coming to the realization himself, giving him a slight shock before he became calm. At least he now had an explanation for the feelings. He smiled and looked at Dakota and said quietly, "I promise i wont give you a heart ache." he said softly.

Dakota glanced up at him as he said the single world, and she felt her world crumple. She'd been trying to keep it out, but yet it happened. And as the word was spoken aloud, she knew it was true. She sighed. "No one can promise to not 'cause a heart to ache," She said softly. "But," She continued, smiling faintly. "I... I think I'll... I'll give you a chance," She said, barely audible, a very small smile of her face.

Fox's face split into a smile and the whole world seemed to brighten as she said yes and the eraser half that had been howling the whole time finally disappeared. He looked down at her and gave her a hug of thanks, enveloping her in his body and said "Thank you." to her, slowly rocking her.
ooc- is that good?
